Okay so after we went to the Aquarium we headed to the Historic Bay Front. It is such a tourist town, LOL. We went to the WAX MUSEUM which was fun. Well, at least WE had a good time.

Fourth of July in Newport, OR- The Aquarium

Friday morning on the Fourth of July, Chris got me up early and we headed to Newport, OR which is on the Coast. They have one of the largest Aquariums on the NW Pacific coast....Chris has been wanting to go there for some time now, so we went. It was really fun, we saw alot of things that we had never seen before.

THE DRUNKEN WEDDING PARTY!

Well it was now time for all of us to say good by until next time. This was such a wonderful time with all of dearest friends. We are so glad they were here to help celebrate with us this most special day! Thank you Paul, Amy, Michelle and Tony for being here and making this a time we will never forget. We love you all!

10 yr Anniversary Weekend-Sat. night

Michelle and Tony arrived around 3pm and stopped at the Outlet Mall to pick me and Amy up to go back to the condo. When we got there Chris and Paul had already started dinner, well Chris was cooking and Paul was making Margaritas! Everyone just chilled for a bit before dinner was served. I set the place settings and poured the wine while Chris got the plates ready. He made pork chops with apple glaze on top, bacon wrapped green beans and homeade rolls. It was so YUMMY! After dinner, it was time for gifts! Yay! Chris and I got new wedding bands for each other so we exchanged those first. Then Michelle opened up her first one which was a stainless steel crockpot. Amy opened up her first gift which was a pair of personalized flip flops! She is crazy about flip flops! Then Michelle opened up her second one which was a stainless steel blender ( I think Chris was trying to give her a hint about cooking).
Then Amy and Michelle opened up their baskets which included pedicure sets, a bottle of wine and a wine glass that had a face painted on each one that looks like them! It has Birthday Girl written on the back. Then Chris and I sat both of them down on the couch and we just wanted to let them know how much they meant to us and that they are such great friends, then we gave them each a box. They opened them up to find a diamond bracelet inside. These are our best friends and they mean so much to us and we would do anything for them and vice versa.
After that Chris and I cut the first piece of our wedding cake. We had a wedding cake made like the wedding cake we had at our wedding, except this one was only two tiers and the top tier was chocolate cake with raspberry and fudge filling. The bottom of the cake was white cake with one side coconut cream and pineapple filling and the other side strawberries and pink champagne filling. MMMMMMMM.....it was so good!
We had such a great time we will never forget this!!

10 Yr. Anniversary Weekend-Saturday

Saturday morning we got up and Chris cooked breakfast for everyone. We all got ready after breakfast and went down to the beach. We stopped at the aquarium to feed the seals and check out the underwater life! After that Amy and I went shopping on the main stip while Paul and Chris went riding on mopeds! They were so cute! Later on, Amy and I walked to the end of town to the Outlet Mall while the boys went back to the Condo to prepare for dinner.

10 Yr. Anniversary Weekend-Friday

Friday we drove to Seaside, OR to stay the weekend at my companies Condo. It was so nice, it is a 2 bed/2bath condo that included everything you would need!! No need to bring anything at all it is all provided. We drove to Portland to pick up our friend Amy and her boyfriend came when he got off of work. Here are some pictures of the first night (Friday June 20, 2008).

TEN YEARS AGO-June 20, 1998

St. Patricks Day Weekend!

We went to Portland for St. Patricks Day Weekend. We met up with Amy and Paul and we all went to Red Robin to meet with Katie and some of her friend. It was Katies Birthday so after dessert at Red Robin we all went to this club. Katie had the VIP section for her group, it was great. The VIP section had leather couches and we pretty much hung out in there all night!! We had a great time!

Our Wine Weekend!

On Saturday we drove up to Corvallis,OR for the Annual Rhapsody in the Vineyard, it is a wine walk. You purchase a glass and tickets and walk all over the downtown area where all of the shops have a winery set up inside. You get to use the tickets for tastings. We started at 4pm and left around 6:45. We had a really good time. On Sunday we picked up our friends Kaylee and Chris and drove up to Mcminnville, OR to the Wine and Food Classic. That was alot of fun. They had 58 wineries and 25 chefs doing demonstrations and of course Art and Jewelers! Kaylee and I headed off together for the Art and tasting while the guys went to the chef demonstrations. We caught up with them about an hour later and then we all went together for the tastings. Chris found 3 wines (ice wines of course) that he really liked so we bought a few to bring home. Kaylee and I really enjoyed the Red Wines. There was just so many to taste! We stayed about another two hours and then went into town to have dinner at Mcminnimens. We ate on the rooftop! It was nice since it was warm out. Here are some pictures from our weekend. Enjoy!

Well, we caught them in the act of being COUCH POTATOES!! This is what they do, sit on the couch, Bella sleeping and Macey with her toys. She LOVES her toys! Also here is a pic of Macey playing in the sandbox at the park! Chris took her walking on Saturday to play at the park, she was so dirty and sandy when she came home. But she had a great time digging and trying to figure out what the merry-go-round was!

Christmas at Mt. Hoodoo

Early this Christmas morning we got up around 7am and got ready for out trip to the Mountain! We drove up to Mt. Hoodoo to go snow tubing!! We arrived around 10am and did about 5 runs. By then it was about 11:30 so we walked over to the Lodge to have lunch. Oh my goodness, two hamburgers, 2 waters, one onion rings and one chili fries cost $26!!! Crazy!! Anyway, we walked back over and ended up doing 4 more runs. It was 2:00 before we knew it. When we arrived that morning the sun was shining and it was gorgeous, we could see all of the surrounding mountains and the ski area as well. By 1:30 the snow had started and became very heavy. The sky got really gray and well we thought it was time to go before we got stuck driving in worse condition than they already were. On the way up there, right before you start on the pass, they require that you have traction tires or chains, so we had chains. You should have seen us putting them on. Ha Ha! I am so glad we left when we did, the pass is under a Severe Winter Storm Warning!! But we had a Blast!!! Can't wait to go again!

On Tuesday night, December 18th we went to a party at the Red Lion Hotel that about 5of the radio stations were putting on. It was fun, they gave away money, prizes, tickets, cds, movies and a trip to Hawaii! We also got pictures with Santa and the elves!

12/18/2007 IPM Eugene Holiday Party

Today I went to the IPM Holiday party. We all had lunch at Chapala's in Eugene, it was great! We all exchanged gifts and we had a fabulous lunch and dessert. I know everyone enjoyed themselves very much! Here are some pictures that were taken during the lunch.

Christmas Dinner at our home. 12/15/2007

Hope everyone had a fantastic week!! Last night we had our friend come over and Chris cooked a Gourmet meal! It was delicious. Grill pork chops marinated in "Apple and Jack" Marinade, and then cinnimon apples on top. He also fixed bacon wrapped green beans, mashed potato balls and homeade rolls. For dessert he made this apple dessert with vanilla bean ice cream on top, Oh my goodness it was to die for!! LOL Everyone had a fabulous time. What are your plans fo the Holidays?

Thankgiving 2007 in Vancouver, WA

Thursday morning we drove up to Vancouver, WA to spend Thanksgiving with Paul and Amy and her family. The traffic was so crazy, we left at 11am and arrived around 2pm!! This should only be a two hour drive. When we finally got there, we drove over to Amy's Mom's house and watched Mom, Amy and Paul finish their game of Scrabble. Then we loaded up food and drove over to Amy's Aunt and Uncles home. The food was wonderful!! After dessert though, they have this tradition were the host hands out glasses that have one of the twelve days of Christmas on it. And yes, then you have to sing your part when it comes to your day on your glass. Chris and I got The First Day of Christmas, so yes we had to sing 12 times!! LOL. By the end Chris had everyone laughing from his trying at an Opera type sound. We had a really great time. They asked us to come for Christmas so I think we might, (as long as we don't have to sing) LOL Hope you all out there had a FABULOUS Thanksgiving too!!

We had so much fun on Halloween night. We met up with our friends Kaylee, Chris, Adam and Kirsten at Wetlands. We all dressed up and we had dinner there. It was a B-L-A-S-T!!! Hope you had fun this Halloween!!

Amy and Paul Leave for Vancouver.

On Labor Day, Chris and I went down to have dinner with Amy and Paul. They are moving to Vancouver, WA. We are so sad they are going, but we will be up to visit and they will come down on some weekends. We are planning on going up there to Vancouver to spend Thanksgiving with them and their family!! We can't wait.
