We got around 4am and mawmaw had breakfast ready by 5:30. I got everything loaded up and made sure not to forget anything, cause we would not be able to turn around! When we were loading up the girls into their carriers in the back of the vehicle, Bella was having a hard time. She absolutely did not want to leave mawmaw and pawpaw. Chris would go towards her and she would run up to the porch where pawpaw was and hide behind him.
Finally Chris had to actually pic her up and carry her to the vehicle!
Once we were on the road (driving to Dallas to catch the plane) we realized just how tired we were. Now once we got to the airport, we got the girls and luggage checked in and of course or flight was delayed an hour!
We finally got on the plane and it seemed like it was taking forever to get to Seattle. Well it was taking forever to get there because the plane was circling over the airport due to weather delays.
Finally we landed and instead of a 3 hour flight it turned into almost 5 hours. We were dead tired. We got our vehicle and loaded everything up, then I drove home. It took 6-1/2 hours instead of 5 hours to get home! Darn construction! So we finally made it home around 1:30am, and unloaded as fast as we could since we had to go to work the next day. We really should have just taken the rest of the week off!
Well that was our quick, jam packed vacation!
